Note: Seeing as how "Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels Goes to Washington" aired smack-dab in the middle of Comic-Con (which I was helping IGN cover for all five days), I'm only just now getting around to the review. Sorry for the delay!
Warning: Full spoilers from the episode follow.
Eric Matthews returned to Girl Meets World this week, and thankfully it was much better this time around. Granted, Disney Channel bit off a little more than it could chew with GMW's political storyline, most of which was laughably off-base. But let's put aside the fact that a group of middle schoolers can't run a senatorial campaign or that official debates last more than two and a half minutes. Because if we look at it from a moral, emotional standpoint, this week's episode had a lot to offer, especially for returning guest star Will Friedle.
